Every now and then, a framing project brings serious pressure—and serious pride. We were recently asked to frame a real Formula 1 Halo device, complete with a photo and custom plaque, for a tier 1 company. The catch? We had just five days to deliver it before the CEO arrived for a visit.
The Halo is no ordinary object. It’s bold, curved, and deep—so deep that the frame needed to be 30cm thick. To avoid it looking bulky, we developed a new method of tapering the back of the frame, creating a sleeker profile without sacrificing structure.
We also staggered the depth of the photo and the plaque, giving the display a layered, dynamic look that reflects the motion and energy of motorsport. The result: a powerful, gallery-worthy tribute to speed, safety, and innovation.
Tight deadlines, technical challenges, and high expectations—this job had it all. But that’s exactly what makes it so rewarding.
Got something unique to frame? Let’s make it unforgettable.
